Beginning her accounting career in 1992 after earning her Associate's Degree in Accounting, Ms. Vega decided to further her education, obtaining an additional Associate's Degree in Science of Accountancy from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Accounting from Post University. Four years later she graduated with high distinction, earning her MS in Accountancy and Financial Management from Keller School of Management, in addition to becoming a Certified Forensic Accountant. Enjoying her rewarding accounting career and taking a big leap forward, Ms. Vega opened her own outsource accounting practice in late 2013.
"As a sole proprietor, I currently run the full operations of a multiple array of services, including non-audited outsource accounting, bookkeeping, individual and business taxes, and notary services," Ms. Vega said. "These services are offered to local clients as well as remote clients."
Ms. Vega has earned the trust, confidence, and loyalty of her clientele by treating her clients and their personal finances with a great level of respect, responsibility, and professionalism. She strives to maintain strong relationships with her current clients and build new ones by reaching out to a diversified community of small businesses and Spanish speaking customers, as Ms. Vega is fully bilingual. She provides a high level of quality in her services by continuing to be in sync with the constant changes in accounting and tax laws, which represent a constant challenge in the accounting profession.
Possessing a senior level of experience by having the opportunity of working in the public accounting arena, where she has supported multiple governmental, non-profit, and state audits with various CPA firms, Ms. Vega also has extensive experience in corporate accounting, working with well-recognized, large companies, featuring Armstrong World Industries, Trelleborg AB, and The Hershey Company, just to mention a few. This exposure has given Ms. Vega the level of expertise and diversified knowledge that makes her excel in her working career.
Ms. Vega is a current member of Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The National Notary Association, The National Association of Tax Preparers, and her local Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Vega is also a proud sponsor of the Wounded Warrior Project.
