Ward, a nationally board certified hypnotherapist through the National Guild of Hypnotists for the past 13 years, spent 25 years with the police department where he introduced hypnotism as a method of helping victims and witnesses enhance their memories as connected to felony crimes.
In 1984, Mr. Ward opened his private practice in hypnotherapy. Mr. Ward has 57 years of experience as a professional hypnotist and 23 years as a certified hypnotherapist.

"I believe that any emotional or physical deficiency of the human body can be fully evaluated as to its original cause and solution in one of my hypnotic regression therapy sessions of less than one hour. Time in the hypnotic state averages less than twenty minutes."
At 90-years-young, Mr. Ward hopes to continue helping and preventing emotional and physical deficiencies to assist where others have failed. To date, he has authored four books on hypnosis: Inner Mind Revisited; Heaven, The Road Back Home; The Inner Mind and Phenomenal Expressions of Hypnotism; three booklets, and numerous papers in the field. He is also an active member with the International Hypnosis Federation and National Guild of Hypnotists, and is a life member of International Association of Research.
Mr. Ward served in the US Navy as a seaman 1st class from 1943-1945 in the South Pacific. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including being named Presenter of the Year from the National Guild of Hypnosis for work done in 1995. He also earned an Award of Excellence in 2003, the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006, and a Fellow in 2002, all from the International Hypnosis Federation. The PARR of Riverside selected him as one of the five researchers to research the use of hypnotism in previous documented medical problems that were not responding to orthodox medicines and was 85% successful in resolving over 1,000 cases in a three-year project.
