Covington Sam's Club(R) Hosts New Orleans Saints Legend Bobby Hebert
Football legend to sign free autographs on Nov. 1 at the new Covington Sam's Club.
- New Orleans, LA (1888PressRelease) October 18, 2012 - Sam's Club and General Mills have announced that they will host a Member Appreciation event at the new Covington Sam's Club on Thursday, Nov. 1, from 6 - 8 p.m. As part of the day's celebration, New Orleans Saints' Legend Bobby Hebert will meet with fans and sign free autographs at Sam's Club, 69630 Stirling Blvd.
Nicknamed the "Cajun Cannon," Hebert led the Michigan Panthers to the USFL championship in the league's inaugural season in 1983. Later, he helped bring the Saints their first playoff appearance in franchise history. Hebert was inducted to the Saints Hall of Fame in 1999 and the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame in 2000. He threw for 21,683 yards and 135 touchdowns during his 11 year NFL career with the Saints and Atlanta Falcons
"We encourage fans to join us for a fun and exciting day," said Chris Cuvas, Club manager of the Covington location. "This event is our way of thanking the community for their patronage of our numerous clubs in the area. We are excited and look forward to seeing all the smiling faces of Covington and surrounding communities, as we welcome New Orleans legend Bobby Hebert to our new location."
Sam's Club members and guests are welcomed and encouraged to visit the Covington location at any time throughout the day. Autographs are limited to one per person and are only guaranteed for the first 120 people in line.
