Country of Origin Marking on U.S. Imports Online Seminar
The "Country of Origin Marking on U.S. Imports" Webinar organized by ComplianceOnline will take place on 5 Apr 2011.
- (1888PressRelease) March 15, 2011 - Every article of foreign origin entering the United States must be legibly marked with the English name of the country of origin unless an exception from marking is provided for in the law. Goods can be detained by Customs before release, if not properly marked; or if goods are released, required to be redelivered to Customs custody. Noncompliance with the regulations can result in severe penalties to the importer.
This webinar will explain the regulations as they apply to most goods imported into the United States with easy to understand examples. It will also assist exporters and foreign manufacturers to understand U.S. marking regulations to help prevent problems before exporting goods into the U.S.
