Country Club Sets Up Fitness Center At Delhi

- (1888PressRelease) November 28, 2012 - Country Club India Ltd (CCIL), India's largest and fastest growing leisure and entertainment conglomerate has opened an exclusive fitness center at Delhi.
Inaugurated by Bollywood actress Ms Payal Rohatgi, Country Club's latest fitness center is equipped with state of the art equipment & qualified trainers. The launch is part of CCIL's Rs 350 crores expansion plan that aims at creating fitness centers across Indian & abroad.
According to CCIL Chairman Mr Y Rajeev Reddy, "CCIL is expanding and diversifying its product and services portfolio being offered to the members. The ultra-modern fitness facilities value adds to our product offering and will help attract more people towards the brand. All our members can stay committed to their fitness regimen while enjoying their holidays with our national and international network," Mr. Reddy added. "Each fitness center will have dedicated booking desk for members to chalk-out Vacation plans at ease."
Elaborating further, Mr Reddy stated that with higher disposable incomes and growing emphasis on health & fitness this industry is expected to grow. CCIL, being a pioneer as far as private clubbing is concerned, aims to capitalize on this tremendous opportunity.
Giving further details about the fitness centers, Mr Reddy stated: "We are moving into the market with the right product offerings. We are investing close to Rs 3.5 crores in each fitness center whose size will broadly range between 4000-10,000 sq ft. These fitness centers boast latest equipment, are well managed and have experts on board to address the fitness needs of our members."
Commenting on the twin concept of fitness and vacations Mr. Reddy informed: "Along with the increased health consciousness, an increasing number of Indians are leisure travelling both within the country and internationally. We are combining the concepts of fitness and a lifetime of customized vacations to create a win-win proposition for our members. In fact we have received excellent response to the three pilot projects which we recently launched at Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Kolkata, Mumbai and Jaipur".
In the first phase, Country Club intends to focus on multiple locations in major metros. Thereafter, CCIL would make foray into tier two cities with the aim of establishing a pan India network. CCIL, which is on an international expansion mode, also intends to take this fitness initiative offshore to boost its NRI memberships.
CCIL currently has operations in Middle East, Sri Lanka & Thailand. It owns and operates over 55 clubs across India & abroad and has over three lakh members.
