Country Club of Colorado Commences Multi-Million Effort to Unveil A New Resort Spa and Expanded Fitness Center in 2015
New additions solidify the club's standing as one of Colorado's most expansive lifestyle recreational centers.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) January 07, 2015 - The Country Club of Colorado (CCOC) at Cheyenne Mountain Resort has started a $3 million, six-month renovation and expansion effort focused on elevating the member and guest experience through a series of new services and amenities. The crown jewel of the project is the addition of a six-room resort spa that will feature Colorado-inspired health and wellness programs and indigenous treatments. The second phase of the project will expand and diversify the existing fitness center to include a new juice bar, group instruction fitness rooms and outdoor lounging areas. Once completed, the CCOC at Cheyenne Mountain Resort will emerge as the club of choice for members, guests, and locals seeking an active lifestyle with a relaxing resort touch. The project will be completed by mid-2015.
"The renovation and expansion project is reflective of our continued commitment to give members and guests access to an unrivaled lineup of year-round activities," said Cathy Matthews-Cane, club general manager. "Our goal is to offer convenient access to a diverse and expansive recreational lifestyle that inspires members and guests to be healthy, stay active and have some fun in the process."
A Spa Experience Coming Soon
As part of this project, CCOC at Cheyenne Mountain Resort will break ground on a brand new 5,000 sq. ft. resort spa. The new facility will be housed on the first-floor of the fitness center and will feature six treatment rooms, manicure and pedicure stations, a private reception lobby and indoor and outdoor meditation and relaxation suites. The spa will offer guests an authentic Colorado spa experience complete with indigenous treatments, facials, nail services, signature packages and retail products. The spa will be open to club members, resort guests and local residents.
A More Fit Fitness Center
The club's existing fitness facility will be relocated within the building to accommodate plans to add more than 6,000 sq. ft of additional space. This move will boost the size of the facility to 9,000 sq. ft., making it one of the largest, resort fitness facilities in southern Colorado. The renovation will feature a main, two-tier workout room with state of the art Life Fitness cardio and fitness equipment, free weights, treadmills, elliptical and stair machines, recumbent and upright bikes, a group exercise floor and two training/studio rooms for class instruction like Yoga and Zumba.
