Cosmos Sports expands into the Boston area
Cosmos Sports continued to expand in North America by entering the Boston market and networking with teams and organisations based there.
- (1888PressRelease) January 23, 2013 - As part of the expansion effort of Cosmos Sports, President of Cosmos Sports, Cary Kaplan, conducted a conference call with every team in the Women's Professional Soccer League (WPS) in 2010. Included in this team were the Boston Breakers.
The call consisted of Cary working as a Sports Consultant to the league on how to maximize sales for the remainder of that WPS season in order to increase revenue for the league. Cary's experience with working with the Canadian Soccer League Commissioner was another reason why the WPS approached Cary for his expertise. Cary offered suggestions to increase Sports Revenue generated included increasing group sales through player and community involvement with charities, special events, fundraising and more.
Although the call only lasted an hour, the teams were pleased with what they learnt and planned on implementing these suggestions soon.
