Corrosion and Coatings PAC Hosts Exclusive Breakfast Event with Congressman Troy Carter at AMPP Annual Conference and Expo
The Corrosion and Coatings Political Action Committee (PAC) is hosting a breakfast event with guest speaker Rep. Troy Carter, Sr. (D-L.A.) on Monday, March 4, 2024, at 7 a.m. at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Troy Carter, Sr. (D-L.A.). This event is scheduled for 7 a.m. on Monday, March 4, 2024, in the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, Room R01, as part of the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Annual Conference and Expo. It aims to gather industry professionals, policymakers, and enthusiasts to further the conversation around corrosion prevention and coatings policies.
“The Corrosion and Coatings PAC is dedicated to advancing policies that promote corrosion prevention, environmental protection, and public safety,” said Elaine Bowman, Corrosion and Coatings PAC Chairwoman. “Through our efforts, we aim to build champions in Congress who will advocate for essential policies such as increased bridge safety, removing lead from drinking water, and protecting our environment from hazardous chemicals. Supporting the PAC moves the industry forward, promotes asset sustainability, and enhances public safety.”
The breakfast event promises a unique platform for networking, engaging discussions, and gaining insights into the initiatives of the Corrosion and Coatings PAC. With Congressman Carter as the guest speaker, attendees will have the opportunity to hear first-hand about the legislative efforts to support the PAC and AMPP mission.
