Coreland Companies' brokerage division recently negotiated four leases totaling more than 9,101 square feet at the Carwood Center in Lakewood, Calif., a 107,000-square-foot Vons grocery-anchored shopping center. Newly signed tenants include: Bellflower Beauty College, PCS Express, Chronic Tacos, and The Green Room.
Coreland Companies was awarded a contract by Watt Properties, a division of Watt Companies, to manage a large portfolio of neighborhood retail properties located across Southern California totaling nearly 1.2 million square feet. The portfolio encompasses 12 retail properties that are located in Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside counties.
Coreland has enhanced its Brokerage division by adding industry veteran Kim Talley to its Retail Brokerage division. Talley was formerly a Senior Associate with CB Richard Ells and joins Coreland as Senior Associate, Retail Brokerage.
Coreland Companies negotiated three quick serve restaurant leases in Southern California, totaling 7,300 sq. ft. with a total value of more than $2.5 million. The leases were with Burger King, Five Guys Burgers & Fries and Waba Grill. Coreland represented the property ownership in all three transactions.

Bryan Bauer of Coreland Companies represented the seller in the sale of a 3.3-acre vacant auto dealership in the 50+ acre, 14-dealership Santa Ana Auto Mall in Santa Ana, Calif. The purchase price was $5,750,000.
Coreland Companies negotiated two leases in Orange County for a total value of more than $3 million: 20,362 SF, 10-year, $2 million retail lease with Planet Fitness at Euclid Shopping Center in Anaheim; and 7,193 SF, 72-month, $1.0 million lease with Phoenix Group Information Systems at the Main Street Town Center in Santa Ana. Coreland is the exclusive leasing agent for both properties.
Coreland Companies represented the seller in the sale of a lender-owned industrial complex at 9220 Hall Road in Downey, Calif. The purchase price was $9,925,000. Prior to the sale, Coreland Principal Patrick Galentine was appointed State Court Receiver. Coreland was named property manager during the receivership period.

Coreland negotiated a 20,160 SF, 10-year lease with dd’s Discounts at Van Buren Plaza, 5700 Van Buren Blvd. in Riverside.
Coreland Companies negotiated two leases: a 5-year lease with Orbital Sciences to occupy a 12,430 SF majority portion of the top floor of the six-story building at 7711 Center Ave., The Towers at Bella Terra (formerly known as One Pacific Plaza) in Huntington Beach; and a 7.5-year lease with The Glidden Company, dba ICI Paints, to occupy a 4,250 SF building at 3010 Bristol Ave. in Costa Mesa.
Coreland Companies has opened its second Orange County office, strategically located in Brea to better serve its clients in northern Orange County. Coreland's Regional Real Estate Manager Cynthia Swanson will head up the firm's new Brea office. This brings the total number of Coreland offices in Southern California to nine. Last year, Coreland opened an office in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Coreland Companies has recently been awarded eight new retail management assignments in Southern California totaling more than 1.5 million square feet including 47th Street Pavilion, Vernola Marketplace, Talega Village Center, Redlands Town Center, Porter Ranch Shopping Center; Diamond Hills Plaza, Mission Plaza and Centre Pointe Marketplace.
