CORE Projects & Technologies Ltd. signs MoU with Gujarat Knowledge Society
Core Projects & Technologies has a made a substantial development in imparting job-oriented sill up-gradation courses by signing a MoU with Gujarat Knowledge Society (GKS).

(CORE) has signed a MOU with Gujarat Knowledge Society (GKS), to impart job-oriented skill up-gradation courses to students from various disciplines in colleges across Ahmedabad and Surat districts. With this tie up, CORE has taken a small but significant step towards educating and enhancing the employment potential of youth in Gujarat.
CORE plans to roll-out skill development courses across 18 verticals in 2 zones -
Ahmedabad and Surat - which have over 400 colleges. In total, these colleges cater to a student population of about 80,000-100,000 and CORE will be able to deliver its courses & technology-led training modules to these students. CORE will extend full support to GKS in the implementation of its skill enhancement goals for government sponsored candidates, especially those from economically backward areas.

The association is being given great importance by CORE within its National Plan for vocational training & education as it will provide CORE the right platform to demonstrate its employability enhancement and skill-building programs in the State of Gujarat. The Government of India in recent years has laid a lot of emphasis on vocational education to fulfill the emerging need of the market by focusing on employability skills. On a pan-India level, CORE intends to roll-out career oriented training programs across several sectors, including Banking and Financial services, Retail and Health Care, and the emphasis will be on quality placement opportunities generated by leveraging CORE's strong industry linkages. The society has divided colleges in the entire state into four zones. They have empanelled training partners who are supposed to conduct pre-approved courses on IT and non-IT skills at various colleges in designated zone. The training partners have to associate themselves with colleges and conduct the classes in the premises of college/institution. Examination is conducted by a third party and the student gets certificate from GKS. Gujarat Knowledge Society aims to empower the youth for accessing better employment opportunities in the age of knowledge based economy.
