The Eastern Mountain Sports daypack giveaway* allows anyone to vote for his or her favorite daypack on Eastern Mountain Sports' Facebook page. At the completion of the contest, 10 Back-to School Eastern Mountain Sports brand daypacks built with CORDURA® fabric will be given away.

The daypack giveaway is a prelude to Eastern Mountain Sports' Back-to-School sale in its stores - Aug. 10-23.

The durable daypacks constructed with CORDURA® Lite fabric and CORDURA® HP fabric are specifically designed to meet the versatile needs of students and durable enough to handle a wide array of demanding outdoor activities, too.

"We chose CORDURA® fabric for all our daypacks so they'll stand up to everything from the classroom to the backcountry," said Wes Green, product manager of camping at Eastern Mountain Sports. "We stand behind our packs because we believe CORDURA® fabric is the most durable on the market, and we hope this contest gets our customers as fired up about our complete daypack line as we are."

Eastern Mountain Sports created high-capacity daypacks offering the exceptional versatility and durability that distinguishes CORDURA® fabric. With the inclusion of CORDURA® fabrics in the body, these packs deliver the added resistance and durability needed to survive all day, everyday wear and tear. The rugged shells and exceptionally organized interiors make these packs the ideal choice for outdoor adventures and daily use.

"The CORDURA® brand team constantly strives to meet the needs of durable people who like to push their own limits, and above all we want our products to be as functional and versatile as the people who use them," said Cindy McNaull, global CORDURA® brand and marketing director. "CORDURA® fabric is a great option for designing long-lasting, reliable gear-for outdoor enthusiasts and students alike. Eastern Mountain Sports' daypacks are a true representation of CORDURA® brand fabrics. They allow the wearer to modify the product to fit their needs and the demands of their own durable adventures."

With built-in padded pockets for valuable electronics, fleece-lined pockets for eyewear, and spacious main compartments with enough room for textbooks, laptops or hiking gear, these fashionable packs are designed for ease of use and accessibility. Compression straps allow for easy transportation, while the external, zip pockets are perfect for storing everyday essentials. Complementing the practical features on the pack, Eastern Mountain Sports® incorporated smart blends of CORDURA® fabric, providing exceptional strength-to-weight ratio and resistance to tears, scuffs and abrasion.
