Copthorne Hotel Dubai Spruces Up Its Facilities
Copthorne Hotel Dubai has recently undergone a major refurbishment upgrading its guest rooms, swimming pool, gym, restaurants, public spaces and technology.
- (1888PressRelease) December 19, 2012 - As part of the renovation the hotel has also added new meeting facilities giving it state-of-the-art conference and training space as well as new retail and commercial space.
Making the announcement, Mr Alaa A. Salameh, General Manager, Copthorne Hotel Dubai, said, "When it comes to a hotel refurbishment is an ongoing process. Our objective is to continuously maintain standards while adding new features."
Outlining the new facilities, Mr Salameh said, "We have upgraded our facilities top-to-bottom. The make-over was carried out in stages as the hotel is consistently busy. Keeping the property open all year round meant that the rooms had to be done without causing any inconvenience to our guests. The biggest task was to expand our meeting facilities adding a beautiful ballroom, four meeting rooms, a boardroom, three breakout rooms and an outdoor event space."
In addition to camouflaging the jaded features, the rooms were given refined new materials and the latest in technology including high speed wireless Internet connections. Said Mr Salameh, "These days Internet connectivity is extremely vital for travelers, and at the Copthorne Hotel Dubai our objective is to provide the very best in technology at par with international levels."
The entire project was carried out quite swiftly and in the most cost effective manner reinventing existing materials rather than discarding them altogether. However, the recreation facilities were completely rehabilitated as were the restaurants. Part of the plan is also a new Indian restaurant that will be ready soon.
Mr Salameh said, "The guests are extremely pleased with the changes and embracing the 'new look' whole heartedly. We hope our new Indian restaurant will become a popular destination serving the finest Indian specialties."
