Consolidated Technologies, Inc. Wins Avaya "Power of WE" Video Contest with Star Trek-inspired Video
When Avaya recently held a video contest for all their Business Partners, the team at Consolidated Technologies decided to go 'where no man has gone before' with their Star Trek-inspired video, "May the WE Be With You."
- (1888PressRelease) July 20, 2012 - Avaya recently announced a special contest for their Business Partners, asking them to create a 3-minute video showing what Avaya's "Power of We" meant to them. A panel of judges rated the submissions on their creativity, messaging and spirit and the winning video would be promoted by Avaya; featured on Avaya's website, YouTube Channel and Facebook page.
When CTI's Marketing Manager Michael Latshaw heard about the contest, he was excited to participate. He knew that with his abilities (Michael had produced multiple videos internally for CTI) and CTI's enthusiastic employees, the company had a definite edge on the competition.
So Michael quickly assembled a team of knowledgeable solution savvy characters to help with the project. His only real challenge was figuring how to transport the CTI cast to a distant planet for some important "out of this world" sequences.
"It was a fun challenge," Latshaw stated. "And since CTI employees have such dedication and passion for the technologies and solutions we provide, they were excited to be involved. It was a very positive experience for all of us."
The efforts paid off. Last week, Avaya announced that Consolidated Technologies was the winner of the competition. The video is now be featured on Avaya's website, their YouTube Channel and Facebook page - and you can watch it here:
