(1888PressRelease) January 22, 2010 - With the announcement that Conan O'Brien will be leaving 'The Tonight Show,' popular comedy site DailyComedy.com has extended a creative partnership offer to Mr. O'Brien to join in their shenanigans.
While the deal does not include a private jet or country club memberships, it does offer unlimited piggyback rides, an endless supply of Tofurkey & Gravy Soda, and any time slot Mr. O'Brien desires - all day, every day.
In addition, DailyComedy.com would be renamed DailyCoCo.com.
"We think this would be a great opportunity for Conan to really show his stuff to our users. They are true comedy connoisseurs, and die-hard Conan fans. Conan could call on the thousands of funny people who hang out at our site to create cutting edge comedy bits that will have no restrictions on content and could play in any time slot he wants," said Gus Van Shloot of DailyComedy.com. "He can broadcast at 11:30pm at night, or 5:38am in the morning. We don't care. Whenever he feels inspired, that is showtime."
Part of the package includes an ownership stake in the site - but only after the eighth month, one month longer than NBC's "trial period."
DailyComedy.com is waiting to hear back from WME Entertainment to set up a meeting to discuss the partnership with Mr. O'Brien.
