Comprehensive IT expertise under the Swisscom brand
As of 1 June 2011, all companies in the Swisscom IT Services Group will operate under the Swisscom umbrella brand. Former subsidiaries Comit and Sourcag will form the Finance Services division, while Resource will become SAP Services.
- (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2011 - Swisscom IT Services ranks as one of the leading Swiss providers specialising in the integration and operation of complex IT systems. The company has around 3,000 employees serving some 400 customers in Switzerland, and generated CHF 907 million in revenue in 2010. The different Swisscom IT Services companies will now operate under the Swisscom umbrella brand. Swisscom IT Services will be broken down into the IT Outsourcing, Workplace Services, SAP Services and Finance Services divisions.
The IT Outsourcing division will support its customers by providing professional advice and integration services and ensuring the stable operation of their IT infrastructure through partial or full outsourcing arrangements.
The Workplace Services division will provide a complete range of services for all aspects of the workplace, from consultancy and planning via delivery and installation to repair and maintenance.
The former Resource will become the SAP Services division. As Switzerland's leading full-service SAP provider, SAP Services will design, develop, implement and operate SAP solutions for medium-sized and large companies. Our customers will benefit from long-standing, sector-neutral technological expertise, process know-how and integration experience.
Former subsidiaries Comit and Sourcag will become the Finance Services division, through which Swisscom IT Services will offer professional consulting and expert implementation of IT solutions in the financial sector. Swisscom IT Services' finance specialists design, implement and operate standard sector-specific systems and individual solutions for around 190 banking and insurance companies. And as the leading BPO partner for cantonal and universal banks, Finance Services will also be responsible for handling all securities business and payment transactions. Finance Services currently employs 840 IT and business experts at locations in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria and Singapore.
