Composer, Philanthropist, and Author Peter Buffett to Regularly Contribute to Utne Reader's Blog
Peter Buffett aims to inspire change with weekly contribution in blog of Utne Reader.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) June 07, 2012 - Emmy Award-winning composer, noted philanthropist, and New York Times best-selling author Peter Buffett joins alternative press magazine Utne Reader as a weekly contributor to a blog he calls, "Change Our Story".
Peter's goal for his blog is to inspire readers to be active participants in creating a positive future for our society. He will do so by sharing the stories and motivations behind his socially conscious music, as well as offering his thoughts on challenging issues that face us as global citizens.
The first entry will debut on the Utne Blog section of their site today. Peter's premiere entry details why he's decided to write for Utne and that he hopes to make an impact on others, even if it's in the most microscopic of ways.
The name, "Change Our Story," stems from Peter's social network of the same name. ChangeOurStory.com is a forum that evokes thought and conversation amongst its members. The main thrust is that changing our fearful perspective on past experiences will allow us to choose what happens in our future. In other words, by changing our outlook, we take back our power as society and can creatively chart our course into the future.
