Academy award nominated composer John Debney reunites with Kevin Costner for the scoring of History Channel's mini- series Hatfields & McCoy.

A soundtrack album was released on Silver Screen Records America featuring the score by John Debney and Tony Morales along with a track from Kevin Costner and Modern West. The score also features vocals by Lisbeth Scott, who Debney previously worked with on The Passion of the Christ. Debney previously worked with Costner on the films Swing Vote and Dreamhouse, and he performed with Kevin Costner at the after-party, following the Swing Vote premiere. Hatfields & McCoys premiered on the History Channel on Memorial Day. This marks the first scripted program to air on the History Channel. It premiered with over 13.9 million viewers, making it the highest premiering drama ever to appear on the History Channel. Hatfields & McCoys is a three-part mini series based off of a true story about two American families at war with one another.
