These full-day in-person seminars led by health and safety expert Dr. Kenneth Weinberg will be held on September 20 and 21, 2012 in Houston, TX.
The New Hazard Communication & Global Harmonized System seminar will explain the requirements of the new Hazard Communication Standard and compare the old requirements with the new requirements.
The seminar on OSHA Recordkeeping will cover the requirements of the regulation, highlight the changes and explain how to better understand the requirements of the regulation so as to avoid fines and penalties.

Seminar instructor Dr. Kenneth Weinberg has over thirty years of experience in health and safety. He has been an independent consultant for more than ten of those thirty years. Dr. Weinberg has been a speaker at many conferences, has taught college courses in his fields of expertise and has written several books, most notable "The Hospital Safety Director's Handbook".
In the full day seminar on the Hazard Communication Standard, Dr. Weinberg will provide examples of how the new requirements will be implemented. A timeline for implementation will be presented. Attendees will be able to explore the requirements of the updated regulation and determine how to best apply it in their business.
The second seminar on OSHA recordkeeping will provide practical examples and hands on activities so that attendees can apply the lessons of the seminar to real life situations. Dr. Weinberg will explain the differences between OSHA recordkeeping and Worker's Comp reporting as well and when and how to report. Participants will learn how to calculate injury and illness rates.
