Seminar instructor Robert J. Russell has more than 25 years of experience working with FDA and the European Commission on technical issues related to policy development, regulation, clinical trial and the medical device development process. Mr. Russell was the Global Director of Regulatory Affairs for two Fortune 100 firms. At present he is the president of RJR Consulting, Inc., specializing in understanding global regulatory issues for the pharmaceutical industry.
During the two day seminar Mr. Russell will focus on overall regulatory compliance requirements and procedures for Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, Biologics and Combination Products in Brazil, Russia, India and China. He will cover topics related to pre-clinical and clinical requirements, addressing the structure of the regulatory agencies, methods by which regulators review filings and registrations company establishment, clinical trials, product registrations, license renewals and supply chain considerations.
The seminar will be valuable for regulatory personnel whose responsibilities require knowledge of BRIC life science product regulations.
