(NASDAQ: RECN), is pleased to announce the appointment of Nelson Schmidt to managing director of its Houston office. Schmidt will be responsible for leading the strategy and business development efforts across all practice areas.

Schmidt most recently was managing director over the central Texas offices. He joined Resources in 2002 when the Company acquired The Procurement Centre (TPC), a Texas-based supply chain management firm providing procurement and supply chain solutions to companies on a project basis. As an original co-founder of TPC, he was instrumental in establishing and rolling out their professional services platform to the Company's diverse and growing list of clientele. Schmidt came to TPC from Marathon Oil where he was supply chain manager.

Schmidt received his Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Houston and is a Certified Purchasing Manager.
