A beautiful Douglas FIR Christmas Tree fresh from the farm delivered right to your door or business will help CLOTH feed and help the needy or donate it back to CLOTH and we will give it to a Family to brighten their season.
- New York, NY (1888PressRelease) November 26, 2011 - Community League of the Heights (CLOTH) aims to raise $2,500 or more during this Fundraiser to enable the organization to support its food pantry during this holiday season and continue its mission in feeding and helping its neighbors. Since 1952, CLOTH has been dedicated to the improvement of the quality of life for residents in need. Its mission encompasses advocacy, organizing and providing of services related to decent affordable housing, education, health, youth services and neighborhood improvement. Its enduring philosophy is: our doors are always open to neighbors in need.
CLOTH has partnered with Campaign America, who since 1996 has specialized in working with nonprofit organizations to support fundraising efforts. Beginning Thanksgiving and thru Mid-December, DOUGLAS FIR CHRISTMAS TREES -fresh cut from Pennsylvania Farm - will be delivered to Manhattan residents or businesses for as low as a donation of $69 for a 5' ft or $99 for a 7'ft delivery. For over 50 years Community League of the Heights has offered a wide range of programs; including, affordable housing for more than 500 families, with an additional 141 units in production. CLOTH is the largest not for profit provider of affordable housing in Washington Heights; educational programs, including daily after-school sessions for 75 children. The school provides a rigorous education experience for children grades 6 through 12; a Food Pantry, which provides nutritious food to more than 1,000 families a month.
