Community Access Unlimited (CAU) Featured On NJTV
Family Mentor Rebekah Novemsky discussed developmental disabilities awareness.
- Newark, NJ (1888PressRelease) April 03, 2015 - Rebekah Novemsky, Family Mentor, Community Access Unlimited (CAU), was recently interviewed on NJTV's "News Today With Mary Alice Williams," where she described her involvement with Community Access Unlimited (CAU) as both professional and personal. Rebekah's son has cerebral palsy.
On the show, Rebekah discussed CAU's role in giving families of those with disabilities a voice when it comes to their relative's care. Additionally, Rebekah pointed out when experts and families work together the outcomes have a higher success rate. She also relayed the challenges facing people with developmental disabilities, such as stereotyping and discrimination.
