Commercial Real Estate Firms Merge To Form Wilson Johnson Sharp
Full-Service, locally owned firm to provide comprehensive services to Coachella Valley.
- (1888PressRelease) July 01, 2010 - Leading boutique Coachella Valley Commercial Real Estate firms, Wilson Johnson and Sharp Commercial have merged to form Wilson Johnson Sharp Commercial Real Estate (WJS) it was announced by company officials.
Founding partners Scott R. Wilson, Matthew V. Johnson and Heather Sharp have over 60 years of combined experience and nearly $1 billion closed in commercial sales and leasing in the Coachella Valley.
"We wanted to put together the 'Dream Team' in every area - retail, investment and industrial," explained Wilson who helped found Wilson Johnson in 2000. Wilson specializes in investment properties, including multi-family as well as commercial. He has brokered over 100 investment properties.
Co-founder Johnson is the development specialist for office and industrial real estate. "Our company growth is driven by our ability to serve existing and new clients. The better we serve our clients, the more we will grow. Customer service is key," he said.
Sharp launched Sharp Commercial in 2005 and quickly became a leader in retail and shopping center real estate in the Valley. "We all recognized the need for this merger," said Sharp. "We know that we offer something that no one else can offer in that we are a full-service firm, specializing in each aspect of commercial real estate."
Plans are currently underway for new office space in the Crossroads at El Paseo (Corner of Highway 111, Monterey and El Paseo in Palm Desert, CA). Slated to open August 1st, the 4,400 square foot office will house over 20 employees. WJS currently employees 12 full time staff with plans to add additional staffing in the immediate future. The new space will be eco-friendly with green features such as solar tubes for light, solar covered parking, concrete flooring, LED lighting and more.
