  • Boston, MA-NH (1888PressRelease) March 29, 2017 - On Saturday, April 1st, 2017, The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE) invites students to join Josh Dahl, author of the fan-favorite "Rapid City" comics and founder of Make Better Comics as they learn the intricacies and skills needed to create an impressive graphic novel and comic book. In "Storytelling with Comic Books and Graphic Novels," Dahl will take the class through the creative process and basics of writing and illustrating comic books and graphic novels, whether a novice or expert in the field!

    From 11:00AM - 2:00PM, embark on an imaginative journey that explores the restrictions and specifics that encompass the vibrant and mysterious art form of graphic novels and comic books. By the end of this three-hour experience, students will have developed the skillset and tools necessary to create original plots and individual scenes.

    Dahl, author of the famed "Rapid City Below Zero" comics, founded Make Better Comics to help others get to the next stage and level of their development, no matter where they are in the production process. Living in Boston, MA, Dahl dedicates much of his life to his passion for making and teaching the art of comic books.
