Comguard unveils a new range of security solutions from gateProtect in India
Dubai based value added distributor, Comguard, announced the launch of new range of security products from gateProtect.

In addition, gateProtect, the German IT security specialist, recently completed the internationally recognized EAL4+ certification under Common Criteria, which is the most important international security standard for IT security products. Level 4+ is the highest possible level of evaluation for IT security products that are available in the market.
The new network solution called gateProtect Secure Web Gateway is targeted at enterprise sector. The solution comes integrated with open source CMS WebGUI. It creates an additional security layer in the network of enterprises and enables "timely response to threats".

According to Comguard, number of security concerns arise while working on cloud, web based applications and social media interactions. gateProtect secure web gateway indentifies and curbs unwarranted data traffic allowing an organization to monitor social media. It integrates with WebGUI and features a multi-admin concept that can also address fast - advancing 2.0 threats. Thus, it not only saves time but also eliminates errors while facilitating work for administrators. It supports Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) and Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) which is an added advantage.
"We will soon introduce the third generation of gateProtect firewalls GPZ 1000, GPZ 2500 and GPZ 5000 in the market. The products feature "redundant components for maximum security together with top stability and performance", added Harish Rai.
