(1888PressRelease) March 28, 2012 - All members of NJStangers, all Ford drivers and anyone else are exhorted to join us at Magarino Ford Lincoln Mercury in Sussex New Jersey for a fun fill car show. This event is a fund raiser for worthy charities. It is being advertised as the NJ Ford Car Show.

NJStangers are a Motoring club in New Jersey serving the tri-state area that originally started out as a Ford Mustang owners club. Of course the Ford Mustang is still, after nearly 50 years, still that icon of the American "pony car", that short tailed, long hooded, sports coupe which all the other makers have tried to copy and yet the Mustang continues, now into its 5th generation with 2013 update with its V8 650HP engine already being whispered about, actually not so much whispered as being shouted from the rooftops.

The Mustang remains a muscle car of dreams but there are many other Ford enthusiasts out there and the club has opened up to welcome members Ford owners of many different models, from the ever popular F series pick up trucks to the owners of a Focus. If you are an enthusiastic Ford owner then you are welcome into the NJStangers.

NJStangers have a number of events and an active calendar. There are weekly events as well as some fabulous car shows. The first important car show is on May 6 in Sussex at Magarino Ford Lincoln Mercury and is a must for all. This is the Magarino Ford Car Show

There will be a whole series of events for the cars as well as over 20 different trophies for over 20 different categories. There will be prizes for the best Stock and the best modified Mustangs from the 95-98, the 99-04 model, for the 2005 - 09 Model and for the current 2010 to present model.

The Mustang was actually in its fourth generation by 1994 but the change in 1998 was mostly in the modular 4.6l SOHC V8 engine with the previous engine being retired after serving well for 30 years. Also the 99 underwent some styling changes but the basic car remained the same.

But the 2005 generation was redesigned as a throw back to the late sixties but with modern features, called it an exercise in "retro-futurism". The 2010 model had a body styling change with a reduced drag coefficient. Nevertheless it still remains the American Pony Car, The muscle car that is all ford with a fine pedigree across 48 years and still going strong.

But that isn't all, acknowledging the Fox, Classic and Shelby mod there are categories for both the Stock and the Modified in those too, as well as the specialty Mustangs.

Then there are a also prizes for the Ford Special vehicles as well as the trucks .

A great day out is assured so make sure you came along to the show grounds in Sussex NJ in all weathers on May6 between 9 and 5. Family Pizza will provide catering.
