Columbia Bank Appoints John K. Nickens as Vice President of Security Risk Management
Columbia Bank announces John K. Nickens as Vice President of Security Risk Management, where he will be responsible for managing the bank’s overall comprehensive security program, including information security, physical security, fraud and business continuity.

With 15 years of banking and financial services experience , John has a strong background in the industry. Holding a Master’s degree in International Business, his areas of expertise include information technology, information and physical security, strategic sourcing and vendor management, and business intelligence and analytics. In his new position, he will cover all regions within the Columbia Bank network, bringing security innovations and solutions to all company branches. Prior to his position at Columbia Bank, John held the position of Global Strategic Sourcing Manager at Russell Investments.
John’s shared philosophy with Columbia Bank places the highest priority on customer service and strives to make a positive contribution in each community served. Outside of work, John has spent time volunteering with Medical Teams International, helping provide humanitarian aid to people affected by disaster.
