Colorado Chapter of NACD to Honor Colorado's Outstanding Directors
State Chapter Seeks Nominations from Public and Private Boards of Directors for Inaugural Awards Event.
- Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) June 02, 2014 - The Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) today issued a call for nominations from public and private boards of directors for the state's inaugural Outstanding Directors Awards.
"The sponsorship team, led by the Denver Business Journal, Lockton Companies and Ernst & Young, will establish one of the country's first awards programs to recognize board members who govern and serve as the 'voice' of our corporations," said NACD-Colorado Chairperson, Mary Beth Vitale, who has served on multiple corporate boards, including CoBiz Financial Inc., since 2005. "This is a great opportunity to distinguish Colorado's unique business leadership community that's managing a cross-section of cutting-edge industries."
