  • Denver, CO (1888PressRelease) August 09, 2011 - CollegeAmerica announced today the launch of its GED Test tutoring program statewide. Complimentary GED Test tutoring is now available at all CollegeAmerica campus locations, including Colorado Springs, Denver, and Fort Collins. The tutoring program is offered at no cost and is designed to help bring enrollees without a diploma a step closer to their dream jobs, by helping them earn the GED credential required to start college.

"A GED can be the critical first step in one's journey in gaining the real-world knowledge and skills necessary to start a career in today's marketplace, yet according to the GED Academy,1 39 million Americans do not have a high school diploma," said Nathan Larson, regional director of CollegeAmerica Colorado. "While earning a GED diploma doesn't guarantee employment, the correlation between unemployment rates and educational attainment is not just anecdotal. Data from the U.S. Census Bureau shows that more 15 percent of people without a high school diploma are unemployed. We are pleased the GED Test tutoring program will be another part of our educational offerings."

CollegeAmerica GED Test tutoring will provide the following benefits:
    • Knowledgeable instructors
    • Flexible tutoring hours
