CollegeAmerica- Fort Collins will be hosting an Open House and conducting Skills Labs/Workshops on Tuesday, December 28, 2010. This will be an opportune time for potential students to see the medical students undergo hands-on training in diverse medical and healthcare disciplines and participate in exciting fun activities organized by CollegeAmerica.
- Fort Collins-Loveland, CO (1888PressRelease) December 22, 2010 - CollegeAmerica will be hosting an Open House and conducting Skills Labs/Workshops at its Fort Collins, Colorado campus on Tuesday, December 28, 2010.
This will be an opportune time for potential students to see the medical students undergo hands-on training in diverse medical and healthcare disciplines. CollegeAmerica is combining a Skills Workshop and Open House on December 28, 2010. From 10 am to 2 pm, the college will be running the following skills labs/workshops:
• Phlebotomy
• Drug Administration
• Vital Signs
• MS Office and Angel open session
• APA format workshop
• Radiology workshop
• Medical Career Information
• GED® Information
The Skills Workshop and Open House will give students an opportunity to gain practical tips and skills. At the same time, participants can also tour the college campus, find out more about other programs available at CollegeAmerica and receive valuable information pertaining to the GED. This will help prospective students who are considering getting higher education.
In addition, participants can also look forward to some exciting fun activities that the college has organized for this open day. They can enjoy watching movies throughout the day at the theater. Those willing to sport a refreshing look can seek assistance of a Mary Kay consultant, who will be conducting complimentary facials. Professional "before" and "after" photographs can be purchased at a nominal charge. Attendees will get a chance to savor a delicious lunch which will be provided by Castillon's Mexican Restaurant.
Participants are encouraged to bring their family and friends to try out areas in which they might be interested and also to engage in these fun activities together.
