- San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) September 06, 2012 - Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the Bay Area's leading real estate service company, announced today that Lisa Norman has been named the company's new regional vice president of marketing. Norman formerly was the director of marketing for Pacific Union International and has also worked with Christie's International Real Estate.
Norman's experience encompasses both luxury and international real estate marketing with a special emphasis on digital platforms, social media and field marketing programs designed to support agents. In her new role, Norman will oversee all of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's marketing operations in Northern California, Colorado and Utah, reporting to Kevin Kay, chief operating officer for the company.
In addition, Coldwell Banker announced it is launching a new field marketing program and has hired another former Pacific Union veteran, Candy Bertoli, to be the first field marketing manager. The company will expand the initiative in the coming months with the hiring of additional field marketing professionals to support agents and staff in the local offices.
As Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's new head of marketing, Norman brings a wide array of marketing and advertising experience, ranging from creative development and print marketing to digital and social media marketing. But she is best known for her innovative e-marketing programs and Realtor communication and marketing tools designed to expand agent business in the Internet Age.
"It's very difficult to find someone who truly understands real estate marketing as well as Lisa, and at the same time is completely on the cutting edge of technology," said Rick Turley, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage.
"Lisa's extremely innovative, creative, and committed to helping our Realtors stay at the very forefront of marketing for themselves and their clients," Turley added. "We're excited to have her join our senior management team and look forward to working with her on behalf of our agents and clients."
Norman said she is looking forward to the opportunity to head up marketing for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. "I'm honored to join the Coldwell Banker family and to help grow a brand that began locally in the Bay Area more than a century ago and is the number one name in real estate around the world today," she said.
"I love the real estate business, and my passion is creating tools for both our professionals and our clients that help buyers and sellers with the biggest financial investment they will make in their lifetime," she added. "It's an exciting and challenging time as we re-imagine how real estate is bought and sold in a global economy and in this Information Age."
Norman said her goals include expanding Coldwell Banker's electronic marketing programs as well as helping the company's 3,600 agents leverage technological and marketing tools on behalf of their clients and their own businesses.
"The endless possibilities in mobile, electronic and social media marketing will showcase our listings to an ever-expanding universe of potential buyers and also enable our clients to have the same connectivity to Coldwell Banker whether they are in an office, on a plane or on vacation half way around the world," Norman said.
During her tenure as director of marketing for Pacific Union, Norman drove the company's rebranding efforts of Morgan Lane Realty in Marin and Pacific Union to create Pacific Union International, a new luxury real estate brand. She was also credited with advancing the brokerage's digital and social media marketing and advertising efforts.
Before entering the real estate industry, Norman worked as a senior media planner for the Adsert Group and as an associate producer of E! Entertainment Television. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a bachelor's degree in communications.
Bertoli, a 19-year marketing veteran, also joins Coldwell Banker from Pacific Union International, where she served as marketing manager for the past two years. She was responsible for agent marketing efforts, including training agents to better leverage e-marketing tools, the corporate website, online corporate collateral, and social media.
