Northern California's largest residential real estate brokerage, Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, has named Kacie Ricker its new regional vice president of marketing. She will oversee marketing operations in Northern California, Utah and Colorado.
- San Francisco, CA (1888PressRelease) October 06, 2012 - Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the Bay Area's leading real estate service company, announced today that Kacie Ricker, senior marketing manager for the company, has been named the new regional vice president of marketing.
In her new role, Ricker will oversee all of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's marketing operations in Northern California, Colorado and Utah, reporting to Kevin Kay, chief operating officer for the company.
A highly accomplished 16-year marketing veteran, Ricker has been responsible for strategic development, creative development and execution of many of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's successful marketing and advertising programs, in particular those tailored to the luxury segment of the housing market and initiatives designed to help agents attract clients and listings.
"Kacie is a very talented and well-rounded marketing professional who brings a deep understanding of the real estate industry," said Rick Turley, president of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. "Over the years, she has worked with many of our top agents and they hold her in high regard for her creativity, energy and commitment to helping them grow their business. We're excited she's joining our leadership team."
Ricker said she is looking forward to the opportunity to head up marketing for Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, the number one brand name in real estate with more than a century of tradition in the housing market.
"I couldn't be more excited to help lead this outstanding team of marketing and public relations professionals," she said. "I'm very fortunate to be starting from a position of strength with such a talented group of marketing pros, some of the most successful agents in the business, and the most respected brand name in real estate around the world. My hope is to build on that success and take Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage to even greater heights in the coming years."
In particular, Ricker said she intends to focus on building the Coldwell Banker brand in the local markets, continue expanding electronic and social media marketing programs, and create new marketing tools aimed at helping the agents support their clients and expand their own business.
"The real estate business is changing so rapidly with the explosion of mobile computing, social media and electronic marketing," she said. "It's an exciting time to be in this field and help position Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in the forefront of e-marketing in the housing industry."
Additionally, Ricker noted that real estate has become a much more global business with many of today's buyers for its properties coming from other parts of the country or even half way around the world. That trend plays into Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage's core strength, she said.
"Networking and international connections are more important today than ever if you're going to help clients sell their home," she said. "Coldwell Banker has the distinct advantage of having more than 85,000 agents in 51 countries around the world, and we want to help agents tap into those connections and strong marketing opportunity to serve their clients."
Ricker graduated from San Jose State University with a bachelor's degree in public relations. Before entering the real estate industry she held public relations positions with Creative Labs in Milpitas, Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, and Seniority, Inc. in Pleasanton. She also worked with the city of Pleasanton's economic development department.
A resident of Pleasanton, Ricker and her husband, Scott, have two daughters, Sofia, age 10, and Ava, age 8. In her free time she enjoys boating and traveling, as well as helping in the community with Habitat for Humanity, the organization that assists low-income families build their own home.
