Olympia, WA (1888PressRelease) April 16, 2011 - Thurston County high school students are invited to participate in a scholarship essay contest sponsored by Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty.
The essay contest "What Makes a House a Home?" is open to all high school age students who are either: (1) living in Thurston County, or (2) attending a Thurston County high school. A home is more than just the shelter you reside in. It can be an apartment, boat, house, or cabin. What is it that makes the place you reside in a home? That is the topic for a 500 word essay Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty is asking high school students. The essay contest begins accepting submissions on Monday, April 18, 2011 through Sunday, May 8, 2011, on Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty's Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/cbolympia.
After the submission period, fan voting for finalists will be conducted Monday, May 9, 2011 through Friday, May 27, 2011. Three winners will be chosen by a panel of judges from the finalists and announced on June 3, 2011.
