Cognesia announce the launch of Engage
Personalised site content - targeted ads and promotions - A/B/N testing.
- (1888PressRelease) June 24, 2011 - Cognesia today announced the launch of a brand new product to be called "Engage". Engage provides its users with the ability to personalise website content, target adverts and promotions based upon the behaviour of site visitors and test the effectiveness of multiple content options to multiple audiences.
Commenting on the release, Mark Wilding, Director and Product Manager said: "The launch of Engage brings content personalisation within the reach of all marketing managers. We've made it easy to implement and simple to manage whilst at the same time providing a comprehensive and extremely powerful solution at an attractive price point. Feedback from our existing client base has been very positive and we believe that Engage is going to revolutionise the way that marketing managers think about site design. They are no longer limited by one size fits all."
Cognesia Engage is capable of managing multiple content options for multiple areas on a page and determining which content to serve to a particular site visitor. The criteria used can be based on any combination of a visitor's previous behaviour on the website, the time of day, day of week, technology platform, browser type or country and region. As a result it is now relatively easy to, for example, serve different content to repeat visitors than to new visitors or personalised content to existing customers who have recently viewed a particular site page and are accessing the site from a mobile device.
The system can be used to target on-site promotions or adverts, personalise content for different audience segments or serve 2 or more content variations to determine which is the most successful (segmented A/B/N testing).
Mark Wilding continues: "This is not an Ad Server or a Content Management System. Engage is designed to work with both or as a standalone system. It can of course serve content based upon the context of the page like a contextual ad server but it can also personalise a website page to suit a particular visitor based upon both their environment and past browsing history."
Cognesia Engage will go live this month and will be available as a standalone product or alongside Cognesia's existing Explore analytics platform.
