Codingame's Next Online Coding Challenge To Be Held On March 22nd
CodinGame's "Kirk's Quest" online coding challenge will be held on March 22nd. Thousands of passionate coders are expected to join the event to have fun, compete against the best hackers in the world and win cool prizes. Participants will also have the opportunity to showcase their skills to sponsors looking to recruit top tech talent.
- (1888PressRelease) March 05, 2014 - Passionate coders from around the world now have their platform: on CodinGame.com, they can participate in fun online coding challenges held monthly.
Through the contests, developers of all skill levels and from all backgrounds can compete against the best hackers worldwide, have a good time, win cool prizes and get noticed by attractive sponsors looking for top tech talent. Up to now, the website has gathered an international community of more than 14,000 keen coders.
The challenges usually last for 3 hours during which participants have to solve 2 programming puzzles, providing the smartest possible code to get to the top of rankings. To code their solutions, participants may use CodinGame's complete online IDE which supports 16 programming languages, alongside with useful features such as auto-completion or syntax highlight.
Participation is free and anonymous and everyone's source code is open-sourced and displayed on the website shortly after the event, so that everyone can learn from the others. Programmers can already train on the website with previous editions' exercises.
Next event will be on March 22nd. Each CodinGame challenge has a dedicated theme so that of March 22nd will be "Kirk's Quest", in reference to Star Trek's Captain Kirk whose birthdate is supposed to be on that day.
