Orlando, FL (1888PressRelease) May 02, 2012 - COCINA|214, Winter Park's only award-winning contemporary Mexican eating establishment, was named Best Mexican Restaurant and a Top New Restaurant in the 2012 Orlando Magazine Dining Awards.

An Orlando Magazine Dining Award is a highly coveted honor in the Central Florida restaurant industry. Readers from around the city vote annually for the top restaurants in 60 categories. The winners are revealed in the May issue.

"We are just about to celebrate our first-year anniversary on Cinco de Mayo, and this honor is the icing on the cake. On Saturday, May 5, COCINA|214 will hold a block party to celebrate its anniversary as well as Cinco de Mayo. The event runs from noon to 10 p.m. Customers can dance the day away to a DJ spinning Latin music. COCINA|214 will be serving up 214 Frozen Margaritas and 214 Swirl Margaritas, as well as a variety of bottled Mexican beers. The Jose Cuervo Tequila girls will be on site from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., and the Don Julio Tequila Girls will be stopping by from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m.

This block party is open to the public, and there is no cover charge.

The COCINA|214 kitchen will be serving up its full menu for guests in the dining room and bar. The menu includes exceptional Tex-Mex and Mexican dishes such as fajitas, enchiladas, nachos, quesadillas and street tacos - all made with authentic and fresh flavors.
