(1888PressRelease) October 25, 2017 - Montclair, New Jersey - A strong bond between grandmother and grandson coupled with a shared passion for the game of golf and writing led to the publication of ‘The Adventures of Meadowlark and His Passion for Golf.’ Judith Schumacher-Tilton, Montclair business woman and her grandson, Jake Magaldi, a high school junior, recently held their official Book Launch at Watchung Booksellers in Montclair, NJ.

Well attended, both Judi and Jake spoke about their inspiration for the book, the intricacies of having it all come together and the joy it brought to them, and in turn, will bring to others. After they spoke, there was a lively Q&A that lasted well into the evening.

According to Schumacher, "I was playing golf one day in California and noticed a Meadowlark ( a tiny bird) watching me play. I thought wouldn’t it be nice to see a bird play golf. That’s when I got the idea of a bird playing golf… I started writing but needed help finishing the book so I asked my grandson, Jake, to be part the writing process.”

Magaldi stated, “Being able to write a book with your grandmother is so special. I feel so blessed to have had the chance to do something like this.”

Truly philanthropic, Schumacher-Tilton is donating a portion of proceeds from ‘The Adventures of Meadowlark and His Passion for Golf,’ to the National Audubon Society: http://www.audubon.org/ in memoriam of Gail Magaldi, Jake Magaldi’s paternal grandmother.
