The Unsatisfied have become friends with deployed army Sgt. Michael Watson through Facebook.
(1888PressRelease) November 01, 2011 - The Unsatisfied have become friends with Sgt. Michael Watson through Facebook. After hearing the band online, Sgt. Watson contacted the band and requested they send him some mp3's. He told them how difficult it was to get new music and that the 18th had to listen to the same thing over and over. "We need music to pump us up" he said. The Unsatisfied then sent a care package to him and the rest of the 18th Infantry at Camp Taji in Iraq.
The band had this to say, "Michael is more than a fan, he has become part of our innermost tribe... he and his are our brothers and sisters" Maybe the rest of America should take a lesson from that. The Unsatisfied are most proud that their stickers are on gun trucks. "They don't put just anything on their trucks so we feel overwhelmingly honored by that" adding "That and the fact that we could provide entertainment for those men and women makes us very proud"
The Unsatisfied released their latest album "Songs the Belt Taught Us" in April 2011. You can hear them on their hugely popular Pandora station and find more info about The Unsatisfied @ www.theunsatisfied.com and on any social network.
