  • (1888PressRelease) September 13, 2019 - Clint will work closely with CNet’s Technical Development Manager focusing on developing and maintaining the highly successful network infrastructure programs. He will ensure that the technical content is accurate, relevant and reflects the current technological advances within the sector and is engaging for CNet learners. He will also involve himself within the network industry sector, liaising with manufacturers, consultants and the installer communities to monitor trends and technical developments, seeking opportunities to expand the network infrastructure programs where additional knowledge, education and skills are required.

Clint joins CNet directly from the British Army’s Royal Corps of Signals, where he served a full and rewarding career in a variety of telecommunications technical roles, starting as a junior installer and progressing through project management positions, into his final role as a training designer for the British Army.

Andrew Stevens, President and CEO, CNet Training adds, “Clint has delivered technical projects in many operational environments (under great pressure), for which he has received the highest recognition and awards.”

Clint was awarded a Queen’s Commendation for Valuable Service for his role in the design, planning and implementation of a project to move the entire Task Force Helmand to a new site in Afghani-stan. Conducted under intense operational conditions and collaborating with multiple nationalities, the project delivered a variety of systems and networks centralised in a new data centre.

The Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI®) program created and delivered by CNet has become the industry preferred certification for network cable installation and is specified as a requirement on many job profiles and installation project contracts. Whilst working for the Royal Signals, Clint was part of the Certified Network Cable Installer (CNCI®) program delivery which was adopted by the Royal Corps of Signals internally to their Installation Technicians as part of their on-going education curriculum. The CNCI® program demonstrates the highest levels of knowledge, skills and competency in network cable infrastructure. Learners undertake copper and fibre cabling installation, termination and testing to the highest quality whilst complying to industry best practice and standards to ensure a right-first-time approach.

More recently, Clint has focused on education and learning, achieving a Certificate in Education (Cert Ed) and an Honours Degree in Education and has successfully authored OFQUAL awards in an array of subjects and levels. All of this experience will be put to very good use in his new role.

Andrew Stevens continues, “We are delighted to welcome Clint on board. His knowledge of all aspects of network infrastructure is outstanding, along with experience of the MOD data centre structure. Clint is driven and passionate and can`t wait to get involved in providing the highest quality educational experiences to all of our learners. I’m sure the whole team will benefit greatly from Clint’s breadth of knowledge and expertise.”
