- Rochester, NY (1888PressRelease) September 23, 2015 - CMI Communications, a meeting and convention production company headquartered in Rochester, New York, is excited to announce that it has been contracted to manage the audio/visual production of the international World Meeting of Families Congress, which takes place this year in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 22nd through the 25th. The Congress rolls into the Papal events that will take place throughout Philadelphia, September 26th and 27th.

CMI is providing all presentation staging and audiovisual equipment, including large scale LED screens, international media broadcast stations and interactive booths for the youth center. Two dedicated show managers from CMI along with a team of over 50 technical professionals will not only set up production at the Pennsylvania Convention Center, but will also be on site throughout the week to ensure the event runs seamlessly and as planned.
The World Meeting of Families takes place once every three years, and 2015 will be the first time it is being held in the United States. This Vatican-sponsored event is expected to see an estimated 20,000 people over the course of the congress, and with over 7,000 international media representatives planning to attend, the convention will be well covered. CMI is also supporting the International Philadelphia Media Center for the week, displaying and managing the media needs for the world press. The convention will span three days, and will end with a much-anticipated appearance from Pope Francis.
