Club Happy Dog Announces Winter 2011 Snow Day Field Trips For Pacific Palisades And Santa Monica Dogs
It is a rare treat indeed for a Southern California pooch to enjoy the joy of snow play frolics. But lucky Club Happy Dog pups will soon be barreling through fluffy powder in local area mountains for the favorite of staff and dogs alike, Snow Day Field Trips!
- Los Angeles-Long Beach, CA (1888PressRelease) December 06, 2010 - Club Happy Dog's year-round excursions take on a special shine with the upside of winter storms, the following treasured Snow Days. The amazed Golden and Labrador Retrievers, and other Club pooches, awkwardly traverse this unfamiliar surface at first, but soon learn to delight in its pleasures, bounding with that unique ecstasy which snow inspires for canines and humans alike.
Dogs' playful natures come alive with winter snow, especially when it is such a rare treat. Even seasoned seniors become puppy-like when they frolic on this special playground turf. The Club Happy Dog clowns tunnel through snow banks, sled down hills with the staff, and learn that traversing is the only easy way up. These happy pups run and bound and crunch through the snow with angelic delight, making it yellow while learning they can chomp it as well. The staff leaders guide them up the mountain trail, enjoying the pooches fun and games with every foot forward along the way.
As the afternoon sun starts waning, the staff team directs the dogs back to the vans with comfy beds for their safe ride back home. Each dog receives a couple of biscuits for staving off growling tummies after the day's intense, exciting play. And there is loud snoring from the very content but pooped pups on the way back.
Club Happy Dog offers Snow Day field trips on Tuesdays in the January and February winter season of Southern Califoronia. They choose a weekday because the human kids are in school, not sharing the mountain, and preclude the complications which can arise from the human sort. Club Happy Dog only chooses warm, sunny days after storms to offset the snow's chill, wearing snow boots but tank tops with backpacks of water. Their advance diligence ensures that roads have been cleared and snow chains not necessary. With their Wilderness Adventure Pass displayed, they roll into these fairyland playgrounds with their excited doggie friends, hitting the white fluff together for a grand day of play.
Club Happy Dog's destinations consist of tried and true Mount Pino in Frazier Park, or Wrightwood mountain trails. The dogs know there is something special en route as they head far from their normal local mountain, beach and park playgrounds. But they ride comfortably in the "mother ship" vans, accustomed to the transport routine with all but that longer hour and a half trek. The scent of the mountain cold alerts them that they are in for a special day!
The dog-doting staff of Club Happy Dog values Snow Days as much as the dogs, maybe more! They jockey to sign up, with those left behind knowing that their chance comes next time. It is a special treat for this warm-hearted group of dog lovers to share this fun with their fur friends. And fond memories are etched for life.
Club Happy Dog's clients readily sign up for this pricier day as they want to give their loved fur kids this hugely unique and special experience. In addition, it tends to net zero as they save bucks with the groomer that week since their dogs return home squeaky clean. And they often cancel next day Club outings because their pups are still too tired to lift their happy heads, presumably dreaming of that white wonderland of fun. The standard Club Happy Dog souvenir pictures of snow play are simply "icing on the cake."
During the rest of the year, Club Happy Dog offers play adventures in the best of the great outdoors, with a surprisingly low price which includes home transport, daily notes and souvenir pictures. The pups dig holes on the beach and surf on the waves, trek mountain ridges with panoramic views, swim in canyon creeks and streams, and even enjoy pool parties! In addition, they frolic with play socials in private park-like grounds which are much safer than the circus atmosphere of the local dog parks.
Not every run of the pack pooch is accepted by Club Happy Dog. To qualify for enrollment, a dog must be at least four months old, spayed or neutered, and from at least fifteen to ninety pounds in weight. In addition, the dog must have received current vaccines and live within their serving territory. Finally the dog must be friendly with people and all other dogs. Club Happy Dog will extend training services for those of the canine set who prefer to bite the hand that feeds them, as well as munch on the ears of their friendly dog buddies. Their clients always know where their dog stands per the regular report card which Club Happy Dog uses to keep in lock step with the dogs' moms and dads.
To qualify for Snow Days, a dog must be previously enrolled in Club Happy Dog's excursions and have demonstrated reliable, trustworthy behaviors.
