Cloud Empire, a full service Toronto music & entertainment marketing company founded by partners Dan Hand and Mark Spicoluk, is setting out to fill a void in the entertainment industry. Cloud Empire, which officially opened its doors in August, will be hosting a media event on Friday, November 1 to showcase their corporate offerings.

The two partners have over twenty years in the music and entertainment industry working along side such artists as: Gene Simmons, Stereos, Lights, Avril Lavigne (to name a few). Cloud Empire, which officially opened its doors in August, will be hosting a media event on Friday, November 1 to showcase their corporate offerings. At Cloud Empire, the company will be focusing on putting the client first - both artist relations and corporate clients - with targeted campaign development. Some of the services Cloud Empire will be offering on the business side include: brand music creation/supervision; corporate talent bookings, music consulting, corporate merchandise and printing, photography and web development and branding.
On the artist side they will be focusing on artist management, studio recording, artist merchandising and printing, artist photography, website development and design, and publicity. Some of the current companies Cloud Empire is working with include: Corporate clients: Nixon watches, Motion Ball, Peace and Cotton, Pink Party, Canadian Federation of Humane Society, F*ck Cancer and Unique Lifestyle. About Mark Spicoluk:
Born in Edmonton Alberta, Mark Spicoluk first founded independent record label Underground Operations as a teenager living in Ajax, Ontario. His creative drive has led him down many avenues over the last 18 years, including former Universal Music Canada Head of A&R, TV personality, musician/performer, producer/writer, and as well an artist manager. His experience spans almost all aspects of the music business and there is very little Mark hasn't seen, handled, or dealt with. With one foot in music and its creation, and the other firmly placed in strategizing, developing, and building both artist careers and the business' around them, Mark continues to lead a unique and vibrant career in both the independent and mainstream music space.
About Dan Hand:
Pickering, Ontario native, Dan Hand, got his start in the music business with an entry level position at independent record label; Underground Operations, where he spent 5 years learning and gaining experience in every possible aspect of the business. His education at Durham College's Music Business Management program and indie label experience allowed him to then manage artist careers, as well as spread his wings by entering into an A&R position at Universal Music Canada. During his years with UMC, he also maintained his roll managing bands and GM'ing Underground Operations, all of which helped him create successful opportunities and career trajectories for countless artists both nationally and around the world.
