Cleveland Rockers Guy Snowdon & The Citizens to Drop Highly Anticipated Album "Two" on April 5th
Cleveland-based rock band Guy Snowdon & The Citizens are gearing up to unleash their latest album, "Two", set for digital release on April 5th, 2024. The album will be available on all major digital platforms, with physical vinyl and CD formats exclusively available at their upcoming shows in Northeast Ohio including shows in Youngstown (April 10), Cleveland (April 13), and Akron (April 27).

The band is particularly excited about "Forgotten Heroes", "Join the Fight", and "Rain" a powerhouse set of tracks destined to captivate audiences with its raw intensity and infectious hooks.
The album features Snowdon's hand raised in a V with palm facing inwards, also known as the "two-finger salute" which is a quintessentially English gesture of defiance and more commonly used than the rude middle finger gesture in Snowdon's native land. Legend has it the long bow archers of Medieval England were captured by the French and their two fingers were cut off rendering them useless. So, the two-finger salute shows you still are deadly and ready to fight! Churchill also used this sign during WWII as a sign for victory!
Another notable highlight of "Two" is the band's approach to its production process. Guy Snowdon & The Citizens launched a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the vinyl production at Discmakers and enlisted the expertise of Geoff Pesche, a renowned Abbey Road mastering engineer who has lent his talents to iconic acts such as Richard Hawley, Dire Straits, and Page & Plant. Backers of the Kickstarter campaign are not only receiving copies of the album but also earning credits on the album covers, a testament to the band's deep connection with its fanbase.

Guy Snowdon & The Citizens originated from the fertile musical soil of Cleveland, Ohio, with frontman Guy Snowdon at the helm. Hailing from Birmingham, UK, Snowdon brings a rich tapestry of influences ranging from pop and jazz to rock and world music. His eclectic musical journey, coupled with the collective talents of Matthew Schieferstein (Drums), Tanisha Salary (Backing Vocals), and Greg Hido (Guitar), culminates in a dynamic sound that transcends genres.
The band made their debut at the historic Beachland Ballroom in October 2019, paying homage to the legendary John Lennon.
