Clay Nissan as Part of Clay Family Dealerships Helps Healing Veterans and Families in Boston
"Veterans Appreciation Month" Celebrated By Clay Nissan of Norwood, Clay Nissan of Newton, Clay Subaru of Norwood, Clay Chevrolet of Norwood, and Clay Hyundai of Norwood.
- (1888PressRelease) November 02, 2012 - The word "family" takes on many meanings at Clay Family Dealerships, including Clay Nissan. In the literal sense, the company has been operated by members of the Clay Family since its founding in 1949. More symbolically, employees and customers at the five dealership locations - Clay Nissan of Newton, Clay Nissan of Norwood, Clay Subaru of Norwood, Clay Chevrolet of Norwood, and Clay Hyundai of Norwood - are collectively regarded as a "family".
Now, Clay Nissan is taking great pride in announcing its newest initiative for a different kind of family: wounded veterans and their loved ones. This November, a sales promotion commemorating "Veterans Appreciation Month" will seek to raise up to $25,000 to benefit The Fisher House Boston, a home stay for military families with a member receiving treatment at the VA hospital.
Throughout the month of November, for each vehicle sold at each of Clay's dealership locations, a donation of $50 will be made to The Fisher House Boston, up to a total donation of $25,000.
"Our new partnership with The Fisher House Boston is our way of thanking those who risk their lives to protect and fight for our country," said David Clay, President of Clay Family Dealerships. "We invite the community to join us in supporting them by visiting any of our five dealerships throughout the month of November."
The cause of veterans care hits close to home in the Clay Family, as members from various generations have served in the military.
The Fisher House Boston, located in West Roxbury, allows any family member or loved one of a veteran or active military personnel, wartime or peacetime, to stay at no charge.
