CLASSYS highlights its highly advanced HIFU technologies at IMCAS Paris 2015
Classys, a medical device company, held a symposium successfully at IMCAS (International Master Course on Aging Skin) Paris 2015. IMCAS is one of the most important and largest international anti-aging courses.

Classys attracted great attention with its hosted symposium that was attended by a large number of world-renowned surgeons and dermatologists. Symposium was composed by speeches of Dr. Benjamin Ascher (a plastic surgeon, France), a founder of IMCAS, Dr. Michael H. Gold (a dermatologist, USA), a president-elect of DASIL, Vanderbilt Univ. associate professor, Dr. Klaus Fritz (Germany), a president of German Academy of Dermatology (DDA), a former president of EADV and ESLD, and Dr. Bertrand Pusel (a dermatologist, France), a vice-chairman of France Laser Group.
During the symposium, there was a heated discussion among the attendants about the cutting edge technology applied in Classys's key products, Ultraformer and Clatuu.
Ultraformer effectively treats the superficial and deeper dermis, as well as the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) with a triple layer lifting effect. Heating the targeted area to 65°-75° C, the highly focused acoustic energy creates thermal coagulation zones at 1.5 mm, 3 mm and 4.5 mm depths, penetrating the skin at optimal levels with geometric precision, while completely sparing the epidermis. Featuring a dual handpiece, the Ultraformer device offers a fluence of 0.1 to 1 J, and is equipped with three different cartridges ideal for the triple layer high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) treatment approach.
Certified by the Korean FDA and CE cleared for eyebrow lifting, this HIFU device can also achieve excellent aesthetic outcomes in malar augmentation, jowl lifting, nasolabial fold reduction, periorbital wrinkle reduction and overall skin tightening and rejuvenation in targeted areas.
Clatuu is a fat-reduction device which can eliminate fat cells by freezing. The device provides a non-invasive treatment using strong and precise cooling energy. It induces apoptosis, the suicide process of the fat cells, cooling them up to minus 9 degree temperature. For seven to ninety days after the treatment, fat cells are destroyed and removed by immune system.
The procedure is incredibly safe with little discomfort. Two applicators working at the same time allows fast treatment. Control panel on the touch screen LCD of the handpiece makes operation easy. It can also allow people to return to their normal body conditions right after the treatment.

It is also remarkably easy to use for enabling sophisticated procedure," said Dr. Ascher. He added that the efficacy of ultraformer is quite impressive.
