Classteacher Learning Systems plans mega series of serminars
Classteacher Learning Systems is planning a series of seminars across the country which shall take its present strength of 600+ schools to over 10,000 schools spread over 100 cities in 2011-2012.
- (1888PressRelease) May 27, 2011 - Gurgaon: The seminars will address key issues like rising parental expectations, changing curricula and advances in education technology, and demonstrate the company's range of expertise and experience in technology deployment in schools integrating hardware, software and implementation services for a total pedagogic transformation. "There are multiple factors for which clients choose us. Next generation content ideas, immersive teacher training and cost efficient and future proof solutions are few of the reasons" says Rohit Pande, CEO, Classteacher Learning Systems. "Our teams work with schools across the country as consultants to help them transact the tremendous change heralding our education systems", he adds.
Research has proven that use of technology in the classrooms can help improve memory retention, increase motivation and deepen understanding. Technology gives access to an exponentially growing storehouse of information sources, almost unlimited networks of people and computers, and unprecedented learning and research opportunities. Classteacher learning solutions focuses more on overall development of the individual potential of the student, so as to better develop their personality and potential in terms of memory, reasoning, aesthetic sense, physical capacities and communication skills to release hidden potential amongst pupils, often neglected by the traditional linear teaching methodologies.
Says Amitava Banerjee, heading Marketing & Communications at Classteacher Learning Systems, "What we do is more about pedagogic research, knowledge management and the development of intelligent curriculum". Speaking on the impediments in technology deployment in schools, he further added, ""The challenge of integrating technology into schools and classrooms is much more that it is technological. What's more, it is not fundamentally about helping teachers to operate machines. Rather, it is about helping teachers integrate these machines into their teaching as tools of a profession that is being redefined through the process."
