Class-act Holds Music-filled Fundraiser To Support "Microloans For Mothers" Program

San Diego, CA (1888PressRelease) October 13, 2011 - Class-ACT Presents a Benefit Concert to support it's Microloans For Mothers program on October 15th from 7-10PM.

"Microloans for Mothers" was envisioned by a group of local women to support their counterparts in the developing world in starting their own business. The funds are used to provide micro-loans for the mothers of students who attend a school in Cambodia supported by our non-profit organization, enabling them to develop businesses that support their families.

"Microloans For Mothers can change a mother's life and that of her family forever," said Niels Lund, Class-ACT Executive Director. "We give small loans of $100 that are paid back with interest, and the interest payment supports the school attended by the mother's children."

The benefit event features live music by Rocket Science, food donated by area restaurants, dancing and a raffle/silent auction.
