Sponsored by The Baltimore Ravens, F.O.N. Entertainment, Behind It All, and DMV Studios, the "crème de la crème", artistic talent of the DMV will showcase their DOPEST skills in various genres such as music, poetry, mixology, fashion, visual art, hair & makeup artistry, and performance arts.
The mission is so simple, yet so exhilarating, create an engaging and action-packed night where the community can enjoy and appreciate different facets of art all while playing a vital role in the movement; a night where local artistic talent has a spotlight and displayed showcase of their creativity in front of the art fanatics in attendance; all in a safe, secure, and positive environment where artistic creativity reigns supreme.
This event guarantees to provide a unique, exciting, and overall DOPE experience like you've never witnessed before! You'll be exposed to a variety of interactive battles such as MC's battling to claim the title of the freshest freestyle rapper in the area; poet cyphers; mixologists battling to see who can create the most delectable cocktail; musical performances by prominent artists from all genres hailing from the DMV area; and much more.
In addition to the creative expression overload; GameTruck Party, a mobile video game truck, will complement the countless drinks, fun, and monumental entertainment with Madden & Call of Duty Challenges, to enhance every aspect of your experience in every way imaginable! This show provides twist in every corner turned....one that ensures the unique and exciting experienced possible!
Proceeds will go to support Earth's Natural Force Connections, an environmental nonprofit organization based in Washington, DC, and its youth program, The ENF Rangers! The ENF Rangers is a group of youths aged 7-16 years whose motto is that "healthy, wholesome music can help positively impact the attitudes of our youth to rid our communities of unwanted trash and litter".
The ENF Rangers impact the community in Ward 8 by focusing on teaching the principles of recycling and waste management in effort to improve the overall "family" view of what a healthy lifestyle is; and promote the concept of "sustainability" within the family, neighborhood and community structure. "We are determined to demonstrate how the art of music is intended to enrich and enhance the cognitive and deductive skills of our developing youth, not to destroy them" says Allen Burriss, President of Earth's Natural Force Connections.
