City Church is hosting its fourth annual Easter services at The Moon, Tallahassee's leading night club, April 24, 2011 at 11:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

An unconventional location for a church service, the venue reflects City Church's mission- to speak an everlasting truth in an ever-changing culture. The church focuses on engaging in spiritual conversation outside of its own walls. "The Moon is one of Tallahassee's most popular spots and we could not think of a more exciting place to celebrate the story of Easter," Pastor Dean Inserra said. "Our hope is that people across Tallahassee will join us for this unique experience of celebrating with City Church for Easter on the Moon." Over 1,800 people attended Easter on the Moon last spring, and the church anticipates an
attendance near 3,000 at this year's Easter services. "We are committed to creating a comfortable atmosphere where individuals who are in church can invite their friends without hesitation," Inserra said. While the culture of Tallahassee is always changing, City Church believes the message of Jesus Christ is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago. It is committed to connecting with the unchurched community of Tallahassee.

    ABOUT CITY CHURCH

Established in August 2007, City Church connects with the needs of this generation and the college campuses of Tallahassee which are very skeptical to any type of organized religion. Tallahassee is a community that consists of over 70,000 college students and continues to see an increasing population of post-graduates and young professionals.

While many churches in Tallahassee are equipped to deal with a modern way of thinking, the city is desperately in need of a church that will minister to the postmodern worldview that is most prevalent in this young generation. City Church seeks to carry out this mission by actively proclaiming the gospel in our community to those who do not believe, and by actively pursuing the ongoing transformation of ourour own lives by the grace of God found in the gospel. Sunday services are held at City Church's Capital Circle NE converted warehouse location cross from Tom Brown Park High School, Sundays at 11:15 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.
