Citing Health Problems BH Publishing Owner Retires; Puts Business On The Block
Mr. Holm is retiring. He is the author of "Recent Survival Trends," published in Jan 2010 and recently he had been working on a follow-up article entitled " Survival Techniques in the 21st Century." He has been the Publisher & Editor for Your World Outdoors for six years.
- Seattle-Bellevue-Everett, WA (1888PressRelease) September 22, 2010 - William C. Holm, owner of BH Publishing LLC, announced Tuesday that he was putting BH Publishing up for sale and quitting the business by the end of the week. Mr. Holm has been the Publisher & Editor for yourworldoutdoors.com for over six years.
Citing severe health problems, Mr. Holm said, " My doctors told me several years ago that my long hours of computer work and running the business was creating serious health problems. They have recommended that I find something less stressful and more personally fulfilling. I am now taking their advice."
Over the last five years, BH Publishing had grown from one outdoor website to 3 active web-sites encompassing 15 domain names. In addition to its trademarked 'Your World Outdoors' name, the company had worked on numerous outdoor projects including:
1) Rock-On- a video on the free style climbing technique,
2) Outdoor Inventor of the Year Award,
3) Water Resource Management Scholarships,
4) 'The Outdoor View' Newsletter,
5) Northland's Hot Honeys Wall Calendar,
6) 'Bulls-eye-On Target Every time'- a video on championship bow hunting,
7) Outdoor Business Leadership Series,
8) Outdoor Investment Series, and
9) Heartland Outdoors Stores. It is the creator of the E-Mall of America concept.
Finally, Mr. Holm stated that if a buyer could not be found soon, it would be necessary to shut the business down completely and take the websites off-line.
